Thought on Tap

We are an outreach program sponsored, in part, by the University of Nevada, Reno College of Liberal Arts and the Core Humanities Department.

Each month, members of the community gather to discuss some topical issues of the day. Our rotating panelists discuss tips and tricks they’ve gathered from their area of expertise, as guided by a moderator and questions from the audience.  Our schedule is available here.

Inspired by Science on Tap, Happy Hour with a Scientist, You’re the Expert, Lovett or Leave it, the Hound Tall Discussion Series, and Caveat, Thought on Tap is a kid-friendly public celebration of thought in an era of hot takes, bad faith, and outrage mobs.
